Rules to Live By
1 - Please abide by the ProBoards TOS terms and regulations.
2 - No advertising your forum/website, unless it's in your signature or in the appropriate thread in Online Written Stuff.
3 - Do not post links to illegal/pornographic/unsuitable content.
4 - No Spamming or trolling. No advertising of any kind or anything that can be taken as spam.
5 - And no double-posting. If you forgot something, please modify your post.
6 - Please do not reply to threads that break any of the rules, please leave them for staff to deal with. There's no need for staff to act as mods. If you have a concern, PM one of the staff or click on the "Report post to Mara or Squall" link on the post itself to send an automatic PM.
7 - Do not post anything that would be more suited to another board. Make sure the threads you post belong in the board you're in.
8 - Please keep the title of your thread relevant to the your topic.
If it just says "Look!" no one will look.
9 - Do not create topics because you're bored. If you are bored and there's no one here, leave and enjoy some sunshine.
10 - Do not start topics that will just involve one or two word replies, unless there is a good reason for it or it is in the games board.
11- No harsh language. We do have a filter and censor list. Don't go around it.
12 - Respect opinions that are different from your own. Not everyone thinks the same.
13 - Pay attention to the extra rules for individual boards listed as sticky threads, for example: Hyperspace and Artisans' Quarters.
14 - Lastly, have fun!
Regarding Graphics and Images:
-- Avatars cannot be more than 100x100 pixels.
-- Please do not make signatures larger than 500x200. Respect members who have lower resolutions and smaller screens.
-- Do not use anything flashy a.k.a. a "screamer" in any of your images, as it may induce seizures to those prone to it.
Punishments and Warnings for Infractions:
-- First offense: Warning by PM.
-- Second offense: Warning bar in your miniprofile 10-20%.
-- Third offense: Warning bar in your miniprofile to 20-50%.
-- Fourth offense : Warning bar in your miniprofile to 50-100%.
-- Fifth offense: Temp. ban for a week.
-- Sixth offense: Temp. ban for a month.
-- Seventh offense: Permanent ban and deletion. If you feel something was unjust, speak to us in Customs, don't make a sock/new account and start spamming the board.
Staff reserve the right to choose degree of warning bar and to skip levels 2-4 and go right to 5, depending on the infraction.
