Okay... so for as for new people joining.. I think it's just James L. and Mashi, right?
We'll try to get some RPs going to a point where you can more easily join. : )
But for now:
James, you said anything but fantasy... right?
And Mashi, you didn't really get into Star Wars, which is fine...
So...here are the active ones, I suppose.
-- Liberty U.[real-life/modern/etc.]--- You can always add on to this one. Some of the characters/students are a little AWOL, lol... so if you add in, you won't be lost really. The active characters will get to know you. It'd be pretty easy to join.
[This goes for anyone else who wants to join an RP, as well....]
-- False Jedi sequel [Star Wars Old Republic] --- I'm sorry, but we are getting to the end of the original and it would be hard to come into an RP right before a big battle... But I promise we're trying to get to the end as soon as we can.
New adventure, new story, hopefully new characters, including yours and others...so super easy to join when it starts up.
-- The Quest [medieval fantasy] --- Just kind of started, and the characters are about to go on a quest, haha.... but you could always be someone they meet on the journey or run into them at the castle before they leave. Fairly easy to join.
-- Heroes and villians [modern/superhero/real-life/etc.] --- This one is just getting started as well. And you don't have to worry about playing a superhero or supervillian; we can always use more "normal" people in the RP. So you can approach it as a real-life RP that way.
Easy to join.
The others are fairly dead... sorry to say.. but I am going to work on a way to revive them (get someone to take over characters, perhaps... and for the WWII one, get someone to sort of run it since I have few knowledge of war history in general).... If that happens, there are two more to keep in the back of your mind:
-- Hell in the Pacific [real-life, WWII era] --- Looks far along, but isn't really. Attack on Pearl Harbor JUST happened, almost literally, and no one's really in the war yet.
Once it gets revived, should be easy to join.
-- Kingdom of the Clouds [medieval era] --- It's really far along, character-wise and stuff...Some of the characters are out from the castle, though, so they could always meet someone "out in the bush" and we could always use more townspeople or knights or something in the castle... It's kind of stuck, though, because of missing people... BUT, if I can get someone to take over a character or two.... I might be able to revive it... probably a lost cause, though.
Anyway, keep the first four in mind for joining for now: Liberty U., The Quest, Heroes and Villians, mostly. And the sequel to False Jedi will be soon...
Also, basically a summary of all the current threaded RPs for anyone who will come by later...
And, please remember, guys, that this thread is for general discussion, signing up and all that.
If you want to discuss a particular RP in depth, regarding character interactions, the story or all that, take it to the OOC (out of character) thread.
