The Mystery of the False Jedi: Episode 4

[Enigma]

Wrelinka is having a hard time believing what she is being told. "That was before we almost died and that Sith spit took our lives! Don't you remember how close he came to cutting off your arm and decapitating you?! I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, but I do think that if we went with more Jedi then we could be more successful and safe," She argues. She puts her hands on her hips and pleads with him to reconsider.

Diophik sighs and then says, "I suppose that if I can't ask you to come with me...so I must order you to come with me. You said once that you were indebted to me for saving your life back on Corellia, remember? Now you return the favour for me and we'll be even. I can't go without you Wrelinka...no matter how many Jedi I have with me or not. You're the only one who has had the experience for crying out loud! They need your help...I need your help..." He looks into her eyes as he says the last part.

Wrelinka feels herself weakening and knows she can't back out or argue anymore. She does have a debt to repay him and wants to do it before she forgets again. In a reluctant voice, she concedes and says that she will go with him. "I was only supposed to be on Coruscant for five or six days anyways," She adds, after he hugs her. This is going to be dangerous...but necessary.

Diophik can hear her thoughts in his mind and then smiles. "You of all people should know about necessities and what the Sith can do. Do you remember that time on Uyter when they invaded the Royal Embassy? We had two to go against and it was just us against them all! We did it then and can do it now. I'm not going to let them destroy anything else or harm anyone else. These "false jedi" are due for death."

Wrelinka is surprised when she hears him speaking so grimly and gasps. "I've never heard you speak like this before, Diophik. What sort of talk is this I hear now?" She asks in a bewildered voice.

Diophik laughs and says that he can be serious when he wants to. After doing this, he then becomes serious again and tells her to meet him again later in his chambers. He says that he has something to show her that she will probably need to carry when they go to Korriban.

Wrelinka waves goodbye to him and then sees him going back into the shadows. She waits and then sees the Jedi Masters she spoke with before exiting the Council chambers. "Greetings!" She says.

[Staranos]

"How long have we been here now? It can't be as long as it feels like it has."

[SWFDM the bored]

"Trouble indded," Odysseus said, "I should be getting back to my crew, stop by for a visit sometime."
He walked out stretching his arms over his head

[The Wis]

Nods as Odysseus walks out the door. "Maybe I'll do that." With that Amie sets about repairing the droid she broke. When completed she returns to her training.

[Enigma]

Wrelinka speaks with the Jedi Masters and loud and hushed tones. She nods occasionally and then laughs when they ask her how her life on Naboo has been. She tells them that it is very beautiful, but nothing compared to Coruscant and was too quiet for her. She then bids them goodbye and walks through the corridors towards Diophik's chamber. She assumes that he is still sleeping in the last place she saw him sleep in and heads up the stairs. She runs fairly quickly and looks like a mere blur to those around her. She also moves considerably fast for someone wearing heavy senatorial-like robes.

[Mara]

"I believe it's only our second day..." She pauses, as if listening. Sulah stands up. "Excuse me..." she heads off to her room again.

[Staranos]

Mutters. <Feels like forever...>

[Enigma]

Wrelinka finds Diophik just where she thinks he will be. She looks in the room she saw him in before on the third floor of the Jedi temple, where Jedi Knights are stationed who are not teaching any padawans. She knocks on his door and finds that it is open. She turns the door handle and sees him there meditating. "Sorry I didn't mean to-"

"That's all right Wrelinka, I was deep in thought," Diophik interrupts as he rises and opens his eyes. He turns to her and smiles. "Now I'll bet you are curious as to what I wanted to show you. Take a look at this..." He pulls something out of his pocket and throws it to her.

Wrelinka catches it and feels a handle. When she pushes one of the buttons, she sees a turqoise blade. She looks at Diophik and shrugs, not seeing what she is supposed to do with this. "You built yourself a new lightsaber, didn't you?" She says in a very presumptious voice.

Diophik sighs and sees that she has not gotten the point yet. "No Wrelinka...that's not for me! It's actually for...you." He says as he shows her his own lightsaber in his other pocket.

Wrelinka is stunned and asks, "Me? Why would I need a lightsaber?! I don't even fight with a blaster unless I really have to!" She gives him back the lightsaber but then finds that it is stuck to her hand. She turns it off, but then turns it back on to try something. She swings it around left and right and hears it humming. This is more beautiful than I thought...

[Staranos]

Dosta, help me to be patient...

[Enigma]

Wrelinka keeps swinging the lightsaber around just trying to make it come off of her hands. When she does this, she finds that it is stuck. "What have you done?!" She asks very curiously yet coldly. It is not her idea to use anything else than her traditional Dathomirian sword in battle, and makes her wonder what is truly going on. "Why won't this lightsaber come off of my hand?!"

Diophik looks amused and then presses another button on the lightsaber. He sees her looking very relieved once she and the weapon are removed from each other. He holds the lightsaber he built for her and places it back into his pocket. "You may not know exactly how to wield this, but you may have to in case we encounter any Sith on Korriban. I'm not going to let you use such an uncivilized/i] weapon such as a blaster and risk having it backfire on you! You've seen that the Jedi use their lightsabers against opponents with blasters and deflect the bolts back to their enemies...therefore killing them. What makes you believe that the Sith are no different from us? They will kill you in less than three seconds if you use a blaster! This function of the lightsaber will enable you to never lose your weapon so long as you fight. Even force powers will not work against this...I have tested and created this myself for you." He quickly explains. By the end of his explanation, he begins breathing more heavily and sits down on his cot.

Wrelinka sits down next to him and picks up the lightsaber he accidently threw on the ground while he was talking to her. She looks at it and then sighs slowly. "If this is what you want me to use, then I guess I do not have a choice. I don't want to die or put you under any risk...so I'll use it and help you fend off any enemies. I know we haven't seen the last of them yet, but perhaps we may after this mission and get some piece. Thank you, Diophik." She says sincerely. She rises and then puts the lightsaber underneath her senatorial-like robes so that it does not jut out and form any outline.

Diophik tells her to meet him again, but tomorrow morning in the Jedi Temple library. She tells him that she will and bids him goodbye. Wrelinka exits his room and descends the flights of stairs she ascended.

[Mara]

Sulah rustles through her bags. Where is that insane beeping coming from? She mutters to herself.

"Yes, Masters, I believe there is something to what this boy says too."

"Bring him to us, to question him, you shall."

Master Revin bowed his head. "Yes, Master." After rising, he left the council chambers.

[Staranos]

Mat, in an effort to wind himself back down, begins to meditate. To reduce the chances of another vision happening he unsheathes his sword again and begins a sequence that, loosely translated from the Adonarite, is known as 'fighting meditation'.

[The Wis]

Through with training for the time being, Amie heads back to her room in the temple to clean up and relax for a little while, trying some meditation.

[Enigma]

Wrelinka finds the Jedi Masters she spoke with before and bids them goodbye. "It was wonderful to return, but alas, I must go back to the Senate and find out about the Chancellor's affairs. Farewell, and may the force be with you all!" She exclaims, looking too happy to actually be happy. She then walks out of the front doors of the Jedi Temple and uses her comlink.

"I'm ready."

[Squall]

After a slight pause and going over his notes, Krin proceeds to record and send his message...

Captain Hypydro, I offer you salutations from the Hapes Cluster. Though coded I will make this transmission brief.

I have obtained a force to be reckoned with and I would like to meet up with you, alone somewhere we can talk about the future of Strider and his up-coming plans.

I fear, Sulah, that I have not been entirely honest with you. Darth Strider plans on starting a war with the Republic using his EGW's and some Sith warriors that were to be trained on Korriban. I was under the impression that after the actions of the girl Wrelinka that his plans may have been thwarted, but I was wrong. I have heard that, not only has some of the Sith survived but also, Strider has gained himself a new young apprentice. I have done some research and I have yet to come up with a name. What I have come up with is that this man is still a part of the Jedi Order. I would be wary of going to the Jedi council as he may still have some influence in the Jedi ranks.

Please, be careful Sulah, I have been having some very unpleasant dreams as of late... all involving your death.

Which brings me to the last truth I must tell you. As I'm sure you must have noticed, I am a force sensitive. Though not nearly as powerful as even the lowliest Jedi, I do have some dreams, premonitions. I could never tell you this as I was afraid I would scare you. I have felt your animosity towards the force, but I have not been able to discern why.

Krin presses the send button on his handheld remote and the recorder light dissapates from him.

He sits back down and rests his chin in his hands and ponders his next move. Should he wait for Sulah or should he just go straight for Kessel.

No, ships this size would barely make it through The Maw .. if at all.

No, He must wait for Sulah .. and hope that she will go for his plan, if not ... he will have to go with "Plan 'B' "
