The Mystery of the False Jedi: Episode 4

[Enigma]

Wrelinka sees a ship exploding and runs towards the blast. What the hell is this?! I come back from Alderaan and everything goes crazy! That better not have been my ship or anything remotely like it! She shades her eyes as the sunlight shines directly down at them and looks at the debris from the explosion. She picks up a piece and sees that it was indeed her ship. "Who the hell did this?!" She exclaims angrily.

Diophik tries to calm her down, but then does so very unsuccessfully. He decides to let her be angry for a moment before getting serious with her. When the moment has passed, he suggests going back to the Jedi Temple and finding a ship. He ignores her protests and takes her to an empty shuttle without a driver. He jumps inside and drives it himself, doing something he would not usually do. Maybe she'll cool down by the time we get there again...

Master Raeve claps her hands and applauds as her colleague continues to explain himself in a brilliant way. She does not see where else the Chancellor could have gone to, except for the planet of Yalk where many rumours of sinister activity have originated from. "If you are right Rexol, then we could crackdown on any additional activity on Yalk while there. I mean...we could do two things at once! We should report back to the Council and inform them of our suspiscions."

Master Rygloth nods and speeds back towards the Coruscant atmosphere. Once the ship breaks through the atmosphere, he lands the starfighter back in the Jedi Temple hangar and runs out. Master Raeve follows him closely and asks those that are in her way to step aside. This is something to be taken seriously. She thinks.

[Squall]

With a mocking stare, krin jested

Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?

[Mara]

The ship closes up behind him, while Sulah just raises her eyebrows.

[Staranos]

The hair on the back of Mat's neck prickles. Why do I feel like everything is converging...And I'm right in the middle of it?

[Squall]

Oh I see. Right to business then. Ok.

Krin calmly clears his throat and begins.

So. I've been to the Hapes cluster. and well lets just say I've made a heck of a ....

He pauses a moment ...

You know after all we've been through don't you think like some kind of "welcoming hug" or something is in order?

His sarcastic tone evident.

[Enigma]

When they reach the Jedi Temple again, Wrelinka and Diophik run out as quickly as they can. They run past many padawan learners and their masters along the way and apologize for causing such a commotion. But the strange thing is that the people they pass do not seem to be too shocked. Maybe they have seen someone else rushing through, Diophik thinks to himself. It is the only logical explanation besides being able to keep your cool...

Wrelinka ascends the grand staircase and then heads to the hangar. While she goes there she thinks she sees someone she recognizes. She stops and sees the same boy who helped her and offered his aide in the Chancellor's office earlier on. "It's you," She says in a surprised voice, "What are you doing here? I didn't know that you were training in the Jedi Temple!"

Diophik stops as Wrelinka stops and almost falls. He straightens himself up and then looks at the person is speaking to. There is a younger man standing before him that he vaguely recognizes. He narrows his eyes and then remembers the boy from their first visit to Korriban and the sudden appearance he made. Maybe this is also a sudden appearance. He turns to Wrelinka and urges her to chat with the guy later on.

Wrelinka seems frozen and does not want to budge at all. "Go ahead Diophik. I'll meet you in the hangar and then we'll leave. I need some answers first."

[The Wis]

Taking a break from their work Amie and her friend head back over to where the mechanics are once again playing sabaac. "No wonder you guys never get any work done."
They all just glare at her and she takes a step back. "Fine, I won't play." Turns to her friend. "How about you, Jolan?" His only answer is a nod as he joins in, Amie sits down next to him. "I promise I'll be good."

[Enigma]

Masters Raeve and Rygloth meet up with Master Irwad outside of the Council chambers. They prepare themselves for receiving an earful from the Jedi Council and then walk in quietly. When they are inside, they bow and begin stating their findings and everything that the Chancellor told them of.

Master Yoda looks at them curiously and then narrows his eyes. He still senses that something is amiss and not right. Nevertheless, he lets them continue until they have finished making their statements and requests. "Interesting this is of the Chancellor," He says after Master Raeve got her last word in. He looks at the other Masters in the chamber who are present and watches them nod.

Master Irwad decides to speak then and stands tall. "We do not yet have confirmation, and only have ruminations." He says truthfully, "If we were to debark on a mission and follow through with it, we could confirm these suspiscions, track down the Chancellor, and investigate some criminal activity in the system we believe the Chancellor has fled to. Does the Council grant us permission to do as such?"

The Jedi Council Masters speak with each other for a moment and then come to a decision together. "Agree with you the Council does," Master Yoda says at last, "Go to this system you shall. May the force be with you."

[Staranos]

Mat turns to see the same woman from earlier. "...Training...? I wish it were that simple."

"I'm on my way to talk to the Council about a vision I had a short time ago."

[Enigma]

Wrelinka nods and then wonders what kinds of visions Matecah might have. "You're a strange one to be wherever danger and I lurk. Do you have some sort of sixth sense?" She asks curiously. She narrows her eyes and then sees something she thought she saw from somewhere before. There is a band around the man's arm that is not glowing right now, but was when he was in her presence before.

She touches the band and peers at it. "Never mind...you must not have a sixth sense, but something a little bit easier to control. Hmmm. So, why are you in the temple anyways? Are you here with that woman and man that were with you on Korriban?" She takes her hand off and furrows her brow.

[Staranos]

"Easier to control? How do you control a Spirit? Eranhu simply appears when he chooses to. As for why I'm here, I told you, I'm here to tell the Council about my vision..."

"I just hope there's something that can be done to prevent it."

[Enigma]

Wrelinka nods and then narrows her eyes. "A vision you say? Might I be so bold as to ask what this vision includes? Perhaps I could take you to see the Council now before I leave to go on another mission. Do you have time?" She asks again. She looks to outside the temple and begins to see the rays of sunlight hitting it fade. It must be sunset soon, she thinks.

[Staranos]

"I'm er, kinda on my way there right now..." He indicates the Jedi Master who's escorting him.

"As for the vision itself..." He sighs heavily. "It was of War." And yes, the capital letter is definately audible.

[Enigma]

Wrelinka realizes that she is holding him back and then nods grimly. "War is a terrible vision to have...and is one that I shall have to ask you about at a later time," She says seriously. She wonders how much time she could splurge before Diophik comes wondering why she isn't in the hangar.

She decides that she should go and says, "I must leave now. Good luck with the Council and may they take your vision as seriously as you. May the force be with you." And with that she runs off and ascends many stairs before entering the corridor with the hangar.

[Staranos]

Mat gives the traditional response of an Adonarite Jedi. "Dosta walk by your side." I don't think I even know her name yet, and this is the third time we've met now.

Quietly. "We'll prob'ly meet again soon."
