Hello, your lovely Admiral here from the Jade's Fire!
And welcome to our September newsletter. This is something newfangled I am trying out, so bear with me.
It'll just be a way for me to extend updates to all of you and perhaps give you a little bit of fun info for the month and things like that.
More might be added later.
First off, I'd just like to thank all of you who have stuck around with us this long. It's been 4 years, can you believe it?
Yes. It's our 4th anniversary. Come sign in and join the revelry and reminisce about all the good times from the beginning until now.
I hope some of our members in hiding will take this opportunity to come and check out all the new things going on here at the Fire.
Secondly, I'd like to welcome our newest member, Nexum, to our lovely abode aboard ship.
And I'd also like to extend welcome to Dillson who joined us earlier this summer.
Please come in and make our newest members feel welcome!
Thirdly, a new sub-board has been added into the Books section upon request. This new area is for the discussing of graphic novels, web comics and other comic books. It is lead by our Commodore Chris. Come check it out soon.
Fourthly, as a Proboards forum we are expecting soon to be upgrading to v4.5, which will come with many new features to make our place a lot more cool and everything.
There is no date, but hopefully it will be coming soon.
Fifthly, a new skin shall be added soon, something all nice and blue and soft. Stay tuned for more details.
Plus! Come in and post in the skin thread to help me make it what you want it to be.
And tell me what else you'd like to have added to the ship to make your experience more pleasant. I am here to serve you all, so please, help me renovate and rejuvenate the Fire.
