So I lost internet for a week, which was the perfect excuse to write this story. Thread title is the working title for it. This is OC SW based, marking in at 32 ABY (WOOT FOR SW NERDINESS!) I've got the first two made, and working on both Duel and Scimitar concurrently. So without further ado, I present to you the stories of Fere and Enapo Epi.
The door opened easily, though it should have been locked. A red skinned Twi'lek walked right through the open doorway as if it was his own office he was walking into. Jason slammed the panic button under the desk and shouted "GUARDS!" at the top of his lungs. The two by the door were already on the move, though the Twi'lek simply waved his arms and they slammed against the wall, then collapsed to the floor unconscious. A sadistic grin splashed across his bright red face, then Jason found himself lifted into the air, where he began flailing in panic.
"Do you know who you're dealing with!? The Galactic Alliance will be outraged!"
This only seemed to amuse the Twi'lek, as his grin enlarged. He couldn't have been but a boy! At most, Jason would put him at seventeen.
"You are Admiral Jason Sturn of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, formerly an admiral of the Galactic Empire before it's merger into the Galactic Alliance. You have served in the Imperial Navy since you were eighteen, the minimum age for enrollment. You wanted to follow in your father's footsteps, though you surpassed him. Your father was Captain Ozzik Sturn of the Galactic Empire. He was killed when you were only one year old by a fugitive Jedi while at Kashyyk during Operation Skyhook. Oh, and your blood type is B negative. Any other questions?"
Unwillingly, Jason had stopped flailing. His mouth gaped as he tried to figure out how this boy had learned so much about him. After a few seconds he cut off the Twi'lek just before he began speaking.
"Very well, you know who I am. Who are you? And what do you expect to gain from killing me?"
The boy clapped his hands and nodded flippantly, looking very pleased at Jason. How irritating...
"Good job! You found the million-credit question. Who am I? I am Fere Epi, former member of the New Jedi Order. As for what I expect to gain...well the Galactic Alliance played a part in killing my father. I'm out for revenge."
Jedi!? That explained the telekinesis. But still, Jedi! Jason seethed.
"I knew allowing the Jedi free reign was a bad idea! You Jedi think you can control everything! You'll see! The Je-"
He was cut off as the wind was knocked out of him when he was flung threw his large office window that overlooked the Coruscant skyline. His last thought before plummeting to his death was only a sarcastic That was a good investment.

Epi, as he thought of himself, smiled as the man raged. An Imperial to the end. He wouldn't have been surprised if the "good admiral" had a few non-human prejudices too. Ah well, what can you do? With a dismissive wave of his hand, he flung the admiral out of his own office window and to his doom below.
He pulled out his datapad and looked over the list of admirals on his hit list, crossing Jason Sturn off the list. Next on the list was a much more familiar name.
Wedge Antilles
Oh, now that would garner some media attention...

Fere Epi pressed the buzzer to be admitted into Antilles' compound. Before long, one of Admiral Antilles' secretaries came on with a rote message. "Admiral Wedge Antilles currently isn't taking guests. If you have an important military message you may leave it with one of his secretaries and they will deliver it to him when he has time." Epi imagined her checking her nails as she spoke, he could almost hear the female's boredom at having to deliver a message she had probably said at least ten times that day. Well, why not do a good deed and spice up this bored secretary's day?
"I really need to get in to see the Admiral. It's very important."
"Then you can leave a message with me and I will deliver it to him."
"But this is very important, and I need to speak to him face to face."
A pause, then. "One moment." After about three or four minutes of silence, the secretary came back on. "Admiral Antilles says 'Whatever it is, it can wait. Quality time with my family is more important.' Would you like to schedule an appointment?"
Epi almost laughed right there. His family!? Well this just couldn't get much better! The sixteen year old former Jedi began pulling the doors open with the force. "But it's very important." He spoke ironically with a smirk, as he knew the secretary was panicking. The door was heavy, but it came open easily under the power of the force. He strolled easily inside only to be confronted by a very familiar voice speaking a very familiar name.
"Fere." At first, Epi was confused. Nobody had called him by his first name in months. Then he placed the voice. A slow turn and an irritated face made it seem as if he was dealing with a nagging mother whom wouldn't leave him alone.
"Mother." He nodded at the teal skinned Twi'lek that stood not far down the hallway. His analytical mind played all his information on her without being asked. Captain Enapo Epi, the Rutian Twi'lek leader of Scimitar squadron -a mismatch squadron of leftover starfighters that accomplished miscellaneous objectives that the GAAF deemed necessary, but needed subtlety that couldn't be accomplished by a normal starfighter squadron- and member of the small and relatively unimportant Epi family. Widowed after her former spouse, Dath, died a scant 3 years ago. One offspring: Fere Epi.
Epi had been avoiding her for months in an effort to keep her out of harms way. However, headstrong as she was, she found her way right into his mess again. "You caught me."
Mother smiled at him. "You make it sound like you had your hand in the cookie jar again. This time I caught you doing something a bit more serious." She took a step towards him.
He took a step back. "Really? I was under the impression that murder of government officials ranked below stealing cookies in terms of seriousness."
Her face hardened. "Fere. I have the authority to arrest you in the name of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. I don't want to, but I will if you don't leave me another option. Can't we just talk?"
Epi sighed. "The time for talk is over, Mother. The Galactic Alliance killed Father. I am appalled that you still work for those bastardizers."
She raised an eyebrow at him. "First of all, I wasn't aware that 'bastardizer' was Standard. And what makes you think that your father would want all this, eh? Did you ever see him breaking into the office of high-ranking officials and killing them on the spot? Dath was a great man. But he's gone now. All that you are doing now is destroying your father's reputation. Nothing you do will bring him back."
Epi only responded by looking away from her and activating his lightsaber. A teal blade shot from the hilt. "Mother. I don't want to hurt you. I really don't. Please just leave now, before I have to." He couldn't bear to look at her as he spoke.
She was shocked. "Your own mother? What's wrong with you?"
"I'm not raising this against my mother. I'm raising it against Captain Enapo Epi of the Galactic Alliance."
Separating sentimentalities from opponents on the battlefield. Dath had taught him well. If only he had taught Fere how to do that off the battlefield as well....
"Very well. Then I raise mine not against my son, but against a fugitive of the Galactic Alliance. Just do me a favor....don't die." She spoke as she pulled the blaster rifle from her back and aimed it at her son. "I won't hold back."
He smiled slightly. "I wasn't planning on dying. And I will hold back." Anything else he planned to say was cut off by the squeal of her blaster rifle firing at him. A quick raise of the teal blade sent the blaster bolt into the wall harmlessly, leaving only a small black mark where it struck the hardened duracrete.
Epi, irritated at her for striking at him unexpectedly, lunged and moved in just close enough to slice the rifle in half. Enapo jumped backwards in reflex, not quite fast enough to protect her blaster rifle from a bisection. Scowling, she pulled a blaster rifle from the back of her pants. Always prepared, that was Mother.
Smiling in triumph, Epi gave her another chance. "Are you ready to surrender and leave me alone?"
Mother only responded with a smirk of her own. "Leave you alone? Fere, I'm your mother. Not leaving you alone is my job."
Defeated by her logic, Epi replied with action, lunging at her once more. She only sidestepped and placed the pistol against his side. Just as she pulled the trigger, prepared to unleash the bolt into a nonlethal portion of his torso, she found herself flung through the air and slammed against the wall, just hard enough to knock the consciousness out of her.
The ex-Jedi walked to her side, assuring himself that she was fine and would probably only wake up to a small headache and some bruises, and turned away. In the time this encounter took, the guards were able to hone in on his location, and so Epi found himself staring down the blasters of a hallway full of guards wearing the GFFA uniform.
Finding that fighting all of these guards would be a foolish endeavor, as they would be replaced faster than he could defeat them, Epi raised his hands above his head in surrender. "Take me to your leader." Obviously they didn't have a very good sense of humor, since instead of laughing they manhandled the unresisting Twi'lek into binders and marched him not to Antilles, but straight to a holding cell.

And that's all I've got so far. Feedback is appreciated.
